In March 2024, I made the biggest life change thus far at the age of 28.

I moved from the UK to the south of France, following my husband as he returned to his hometown after a decade of living in London.

Nouveau Début (or new beginning) was born out of the desire to showcase the good, the bad and the ugly of moving abroad – and there’s plenty of the latter.

It’s tough, it’s lonely and it has the potential to drive you crazy, but it’s also the best thing you’ll ever do in your life.
